Dr Catherine Ayres

Catherine Ayres is a poet and teacher from Alnwick.

Her first collection, 'Amazon', was published by Indigo Dreams in 2016.' Her pamphlet, 'Janus', was published this year, and she has a collection forthcoming from 'Indigo Dreams', exploring the women who lived on Hadrian's Wall at the time of the Roman occupation.

Catherine has a PhD in Creative Writing from Northumbria University.

Hugh Dunford

Hugh Dunford has played in several bands over the last 40 years - mainly acoustic - ending up in a duo which lasted some 20 years down in Berkshire. Since returning home to the north east he has played covers for solo pub/event gigs.

Now, however, he writes for himself on acoustic guitar and performs only at the highest level: Coquetdale Creatives!

Some influences are: Leonard Cohen, James Taylor, Gillian Welch, Paul Simon, Randy Newman.
